BUPA EssentialCare

BUPA EssentialCare offers your clients cover for eligible private medical treatment in the UK by BUPA-recognised consultants, therapists and practitioners. It provides cover for eligible diagnostic tests, inpatient and daypatient treatment and outpatient consultations immediately related to and following their private inpatient or daypatient treatment. Eligible treatment for cancer is also fully covered.

To help reduce subscriptions this scheme excludes cover for the cost of private consultations or therapies that take place before you have daypatient or inpatient hospital treatment. Cover for hospital accommodation is at scale C at hospitals included in the nationwide network of BUPA Participating hospitals. This is a more extensive hospital network than we offer on some of our other schemes.

What are the key benefits?

Full cover for eligible inpatient and daycase treatment by a BUPA recognised consultant in a scale c room of a BUPA Participating hospital
Cover for outpatient diagnostics and consultations, following and directly related to inpatient/daypatient treatment, up to £500 a year
Cover for outpatient therapies up to benefit limits
Cover for eligible private hospital treatment following an accident or emergency admission
Cover for organ transplants and injuries arising from dangerous hobbies
