Europ Assistance - IHS Services (EA IHS) is the Europ Assistance Group’s International Health Solutions division.

Headquartered in France, with subsidiaries, operational sites and missions on all 5 continents EA IHS is able to deploy its services anywhere in the world. EA IHS boasts operations throughout Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Americas with some of the largest and most exacting companies in the world and is quickly becoming known as one of the leaders in its field.

Staffed and managed by individuals with a strong experience in working and living on all continents, EA IHS can also count on the wealth of expertise accumulated by the Europ Assistance Group’s 6,000 employees in the past 47 years since the creation of Europ Assistance.

Our mission

For more than 45 years, the Europ Assistance Group has developed a unique expertise in medical assistance for corporations and individuals in order to follow them wherever they go. As our clients’ activities are increasingly becoming international, intervening in even more demanding environments, it was the Europ Assistance Group’s duty to create a specialized structure in order to follow our clients close on the field.

Created in 2005, EA IHS is responsible for the provision of cross-border health care services and health insurances throughout the world. Its mission aims to:

Put all elements in place in order for expatriates and their families to find in the country of destination a health care structure matching as best as possible the standards they benefited from in their country of origin.

Improve health care systems available to our clients’ local employees in order for them to benefit from an expertise and the transfer of know-how of international standards medicine.
A One Stop Shop Offer of services

In order to fully engage itself, EA IHS has been built as a One Stop Shop in order to master and fulfil all our clients’ health care needs: from the first assessment study of a project’s impact, the creation of health care structures in isolated environments, whilst providing support activities such as telemedicine to allow the running of medical units, and creating a network of local credentialed providers, through to medical evacuations management and organization of care abroad.

Training
Our teams are at the center of all our actions and our commitment to them is reflected by our ambitious training policy for our local and expatriate personnel. Our academies and training programs are also available to our clients’ medical personnel aiming to reaching the same goals.

Technology
EA IHS is not the only company able to provide a medical service in the short term. However we have made the choice to invest substantially in R&D in order allocate all our activities with our proprietary tools specially built to follow us and, beyond the simple delivery of medical services, to provide us with our undeniable competitive advantage. Based on the systematic exploitation of collected data and the provision of thorough analysis our edge is to provide our clients with the best decisions to make in order to provide high performance health care solutions whilst maintaining an optimum financial framework.

Insurance and Services
Our Group’s force, provided by the people that constitute it, is to confront on a daily basis the pure services solutions with insurances solutions. Indeed, Europ Assistance is also an insurance company, as well as its mother company, Generali Assicurazioni. This double approach enables us to continuously focus on controlling health care expenses and costs within the solutions offered to our clients in order to limit their financial exposure in this field.

Since its creation, EA IHS has equipped itself with a demanding HSE policy and qualified teams here to implement it wherever we go in the world.

Sustainable economy
EA IHS’ approach is to establish its international development in the long run. Existing for less than 5 years, we have built close to 10 subsidiaries in our countries of implantation which have joined the Europ Assistance Group’s 30 other subsidiaries. We believe in the transfer of know-how, we care about communities within which we grow and we take our responsibilities as citizens very seriously.
