. William Russell offers free global travel insurance . International expatriate insurance specialist William Russell has launched a promotion to give away one year’s free global travel insurance worth US$104 to new members taking out an individual Platinum GlobalHealth Elite plan for the first time in March 2009. The promotion is designed to be attractive to family groups.  A family of four can benefit from free travel insurance, saving US$416 in the first year in addition to the new ‘well-child’ benefit introduced for Platinum plan holders in 2009.  This benefit provides cover for children’s routine vaccinations and developmental check-ups. William Russell’s Global Travel Plan provides cover for baggage, personal effects and other travel insurance benefits during trips of up to 120 days outside the members’ country of residence in addition to the medical expenses and evacuation cover provided by the Platinum GlobalHealth Elite plan.
